Common Misconceptions – Multiplication and Division The presentation of the multiplication symbol – it is not the same as an addition symbol Sharing can be between 1,2,3,4,5 …….. and not only 2. Multiplication is adding the same number multi times.
Common Misconception – Properties of shape That a logic block is a 2D shape That 2D shapes can be held – not understanding that they are a face of a 3D shape. That a square (for example) becomes a diamond if it is rotated 45° That a diamond is the name of a shape.
