Kent MAT Alliance

The Kent MAT Alliance is a group of eleven Multi Academy Trusts with sixty primary schools across Kent, Medway, Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich authorities. We are a like-minded collective of CEOs who strongly believe we are ‘better together’; working collaboratively to improve the educational outcomes of all the children in our care. Formed within the Kent MAT Alliance is a Business Management forum where our colleagues responsible for the operational delivery of elements such as finance, HR and IT also work closely together to share best practice, ideas and the development of systems to improve the organisational framework of our respective MATs.

Our work to date includes a number of initiatives with direct impact on improving our individual and shared outcomes such as the sharing of resources, peer to peer thematic reviews and training. We are pleased to have the support of our Regional School Commissioner’s Office and are proud to be part of a collaborative partnership that is directly improving the MAT landscape and driving improvement in the education and opportunities of pupils in our schools.

We are members of the Chartered College of Teaching.  The Chartered College of Teaching is a professional body for the teaching profession and promote educational research and evidence-informed practice to inform teaching and learning.
