Children from Vale View have been planting trees as part of the Queen's Green Canopy initiative.  We are very keen on being green at the Whinless Down Academy and planting trees is a great way of reducing our carbon footprint as well as providing a great habitat for wildlife.  

The Queen's Canopy initiative has been created to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022 by planting trees all over the UK and we're excited to be part of the legacy it will create.
